Getting the most from your Grooming Kit

Who it's for, and how to use it

Made for

Dogs and cats with short, medium or long coats
Pets who shed a lot, or get tangles and mats between baths
Anyone who wants to groom at home and keep everything in one place

How to use it

Start with the deshedding tool or brush to lift loose hair, working in the direction the coat grows.
Use the comb to work gently through tangles and check for fleas, especially behind the ears and around the tail.
Finish with the grooming gloves for a calm, hands-on brush that most pets enjoy.
Trim nails a little at a time, avoiding the quick (the pink part inside the nail). If you are unsure, ask your vet or groomer to show you once.

Good to know

Short, regular sessions of 5 to 10 minutes a few times a week are easier on your pet than one long session.
Brush before bath time, since water can tighten tangles.
Rinse brushes and combs in warm soapy water and let them dry fully before packing them away.

Questions about this kit

Is it suitable for cats?

Yes. The kit is designed for both dogs and cats. Go gently, keep sessions short and stop if your pet becomes stressed.

What is the difference between the bag options?

The 12 pieces are exactly the same whichever option you choose. You can pick blue or pink, packed either in a reusable storage bag to keep everything together, or in simple protective packaging. The price is the same.

Will it help with shedding?

Regular brushing with the deshedding tool lifts loose undercoat before it ends up on your floor and furniture, which is the most effective way to manage shedding at home.
